MIYAAR CONNECT is an independent platform that helps organizations understand ISO standards and send inquiries to independent certification bodies. We do not audit, certify or accredit.

What we do
We help organizations in Iraq understand which ISO standard may fit, what certification involves and how to ask for a quote. Where a suitable independent certification body is available, we connect your inquiry with it. Our plan is to start in Iraq and extend to the GCC later.
Our name
Mi'yar (معيار) means "standard" in Arabic. It reflects the aim of making standards easier to understand.
Mission and vision
Mission: Make ISO standards understandable and accessible for every organization in Iraq.
Vision: The most trusted independent starting point for ISO standards across Iraq and the GCC.
Our values
Clarity
We use plain language, explain terms and answer questions near the start of each page.
Independence
We are not a certification body. We do not own the audit or the decision, and we tell you plainly who does.
Precision
We use the right terms, such as certified to ISO 9001, certification body and accreditation body. We avoid claims we cannot support.
Respect
We respect your time, your data and your right to decide. We ask for your consent before sharing your inquiry.
What we are not
- We are not a certification body. We do not audit organizations or issue certificates.
- We are not an accreditation body. We do not accredit certification bodies.
- We are not ISO. ISO writes standards. It does not certify organizations.
- We do not make certification decisions, set certification fees or promise results.
- We do not recommend that you buy consulting or training from any provider.
Audits, certification decisions and certificates come from independent certification bodies. They contract with you directly.
